On Thursday, July 24th, Governor John Kasich delivered a very personal and motivational commencement address to the 2014 graduating class of Miami-Jacobs Career College in Columbus. Governor Kasich congratulated the graduates on obtaining the skills to join Ohio’s workforce. He said he was impressed with the number of students that had already obtained jobs and commented on the life-long placement services that Miami-Jacobs offers. He challenged the graduates to pay back by encouraging and helping others to obtain skills necessary to obtain meaningful employment and happy life.
“To the best of my knowledge, this is the first sitting Governor to address a graduation class at a career college.”
